I’ve been invited to many Super Bowl watch parties and always bring something to share. Fans are even trying to stick to their health goals, despite all the junk food around them.
If this resonates with you, know you are not alone. If you want to bring a potluck dish that is not boring, then you are also not alone. If you want to stand out from the crowd on taste and appearance while not sacrificing nutrition, I’ve got you covered.

I made both the bacon wrapped dates and the meatballs for a potluck dinner at church. There was nothing left to bring home but the empty serving dishes! I cut the bacon in thirds instead of in half and it was more than enough and the exact amount to wrap a bag of dates–with just two left over, which the cook promptly ate.
I am so glad the recipes were a big hit! Thanks for letting me know how much you and your potluck crew enjoyed them and for the preparation tip!
